Frequently
Asked Questions
Question: What do Adventist's believe?
Answer: As a Christian church, Seventh-day Adventists
are a faith community rooted in the beliefs described by the Holy
Scriptures. They recognize the Bible as the perfect expression of
God's will for man-kind. Seventh-day Adventists follow Biblical teaching
regarding the Sabbath. They observe this holy day on Saturday, the
seventh day of the week. Following the guidelines in scripture, the
Sabbath is observed from sunset Friday to sunset Saturday. It is a
day of rest and no unnecessary work is done. This sacred day is devoted
to Bible study, church services, family activities and Christian witnessing.
